Brisbane Hunting Supplies is a family business owned and operated by Adrian and Rachel De Pauw who, bring with them a lifetime of pig hunting experience.
Growing up on a dairy farm Adrian and his family were keen hunters and fishermen. It was natural progression that saw pig hunting become Adrian’s favourite passion and past time.
Seeing the damage that feral pigs have on the environment and crops also spurs on Adrian. He finds it very satisfying to do something to help the Australian farmers and the environment by culling these feral animals.
As with all pig hunters Adrian is a huge dog lover.
“There is nothing better than breeding and training a young pup into being a fully working pig dog.” say Adrian.
Adrian’s passion now extends to his own family and he loves taking his wife Rachel, and kids on hunting adventures, whether it is out west, up north or local.
“Pigging is always a great family adventure.”
After living, working and hunting pigs in western Queensland for the past five years, Adrian and Rachel returned to Brisbane in late 2014. Upon their return, they were disappointed to find the closest pig dog supplies shop was hundreds of kilometres away.
Their passion for pig hunting and their own pig hunting needs combined to spark a great business idea.
And as a result, Brisbane Hunting Supplies opened for business in February 2015.
With an aim to personally look after hunters and their dogs’ every need, they have been overwhelmed, but not surprised by the positive response.
Adrian and Rachel know the importance of good quality pig dog supplies and accessories and they know that hunters just like you, want great advice from people in the know.
The steady growth of Brisbane Hunting Supplies has seen them venture into the online market, and they are continually expanding their product range.
So if you’re after great products, even better prices and advice from experienced pig hunters who love it as much as you do, you’ve found the right place.
